Meet Linda J. Seibert, MA, LPC, NCC

I’m Linda…

I do not consider myself the average therapist because I do not sit around and say “Hmm, tell me more”. Instead, I take a very assertive style and want to encourage you to make changes in your life as quickly and effectively as possible. You need to want to make changes in your life before I can truly help you. I usually give homework assignments and expect them to be done. You see me for 53 minutes to 1 hour, but the majority of the work is done outside of the session with the techniques and tools we discuss during our sessions. I share my time between video and face to face counseling. I also offer recommendations for Emotional Support Animals.
I seek to walk alongside individuals and couples, showing hope and direction for changed lives which enables me to be a benefit to you during this time of need.
I am a Christian counselor which means I direct you to God, the Bible and faith to help you heal, progress and find hope. I will not force you to believe what I believe, but I do want you to know where I come from. I have been seeing clients since 2013 both in Texas and Colorado. My therapy practices and techniques have also grown and matured throughout this time.

Hopefully, I can help you. I recognize the process is not easy and sometimes its just plain difficult.

Some  more information about me …

I was born and raised in Texas, graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in 1982. I have a BA in Elementary Education and in Spanish from The University of Texas with a Life Time Teaching Certificate and a Masters of Art in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified  Counselor. I have been married for over 25 years and we have two grown daughters. I enjoy hiking, painting, gardening and quilting. I love learning about different cultures and people groups. I have lived in 4 countries and have traveled to over 35 countries. On my bucket list is to go to Iceland. My husband is retired and works full time on our “fixer upper” home on the westside of Colorado Springs.
I want to personally thank you for deciding to change your life and become healthier and/or deciding to have a stronger marriage. Together we will take one step at a time towards making your world more understandable, full of hope and joyful. Thank you for considering me to walk alongside of you on your journey. – Linda

Meet Elizabeth Moffitt, MA, LPCC, NCC

Nice to meet you. I’m Elizabeth…

Have you come to an understanding that something in your life just isn’t working and you can’t fix it on your own? Do you need someone to talk to who will listen without judgement? One of my first priorities in therapy is to provide you with an environment which allows you the safety and space to drop the weight of your struggles and grow – a place to be “real”. Now is the time for change.

My Specialties…

I enjoy working with all ages from 10 years and up, with extensive experience with adolescents, women, and couples. Depression, anxiety, grief (including pet loss), relationship and couples’ problems, past traumas, self-harm, and vocational burnout (including mom burnout) are among the many issues I help my clients work through.

My clients…

My clients are ready to delve in and get to work! They understand that I do not have a magic wand but that we, together, will actively approach your treatment and tailor it to your life and needs. The clients with the best success in therapy follow through with their homework, take initiative, and we get to the root of what is causing your “stuck” feelings.

My clients are sick and tired of being sick and tired and are committed to growing. They are tired of wearing a mask and pretending that everything is okay when it is not. The old ways are not serving their needs and the same old things are holding them back. They know it is time for a change. Imagine what your life could look like. Together, let’s work towards that.

If I still have your attention… feel free to keep reading about me.

I have walked through seasons of growth in my own life. I am genuine and real and I want a real therapeutic relationship with my clients. I’m not one who takes out my clip-board and looks down my nose at you as you share your heart and says “hmmm…”. We work and get things done together in our sessions.

I was a graduate ‘with distinction’ in my academically rigorous master’s counseling program and take pride in my work. I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) and have have voluntarily met high national standards for counseling and subscribe to the highest ethical and practice standards available.

I am a mom, wife, and a perpetual student who enjoys learning. I love most animals, saying “y’all”, reading, music and movies, spending time with friends and family, playing board games, traveling, and spending time outside. I’m a southern girl at heart and grew up in Tennessee and have lived in Colorado since 2007.

How I Approach Therapy

I truly love walking alongside others to encourage and outfit them with helpful tools in order to have a purposeful and meaningful life. I believe therapy is a collaboration between two experts (one being the client who knows themselves the best).

I integrate complementary research methodologies (primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy) and techniques. I also can include biblical perspectives as requested. I am a Christian who seeks to serve and accept every person unconditionally and wholeheartedly.

In a nutshell, my underlying approach is supportive and relationship-based while integrating research & evidenced-based strategies to work through your problems.

Whatever problems you are facing right now; you do not have to face them alone. I know it takes courage to reach out for help, and I promise to give you my best. Contact me today and do not wait for things to just get better. Let’s do this and do it together! There is hope.
